Terms of service

1. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using ValidateHunt, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement where you live.

2. Accounts and identity

You are responsible for your account and for providing accurate information. Reviews require a verified email and are attached to a public maker identity. Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, share access in order to manipulate reviews, or use automated means to evade platform rules.

3. Product submissions

You may submit only products that you own, operate, or are authorized to represent. Submitted URLs must be safe, functional, and accurately described. Do not submit illegal, deceptive, infringing, malicious, hateful, or sexually exploitative content.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant ValidateHunt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, and promote submitted content as needed to operate the directory, rankings, archives, feeds, social previews, and badges.

4. Review rules

Reviews must reflect your honest assessment. You may not review your own product, coordinate scores, trade favorable reviews, threaten or harass makers, copy justifications, or attempt to reroll locked assignments. Reviews and scores are public and immutable once submitted, except where ValidateHunt must remove content for safety, legal, or moderation reasons.

5. Rankings and weekly competitions

Rankings follow the rules described on the About page. ValidateHunt may exclude fraudulent, ineligible, or removed activity when calculating scores. We do not guarantee a particular number of reviews, ranking, amount of traffic, backlink result, customer response, or commercial outcome.

6. Badges and outbound links

Badge code may be used only for the product it represents and must not misstate a score, ranking, verification status, or award. A Verified chip or dofollow listing link depends on a valid badge embed and may be revoked if the embed is removed, altered, or cannot be verified. ValidateHunt may change badge presentation while preserving the underlying result.

7. Moderation and enforcement

We may investigate, reject, hide, unlist, or remove content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk, or undermine the competition. We may preserve records needed to investigate abuse, comply with law, or maintain historical rankings. To report content, email gabriel@validatehunt.com.

8. Availability and changes

ValidateHunt is currently offered without a submission fee. We may add, remove, suspend, or charge for features in the future, with notice where appropriate. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

ValidateHunt provides a platform for maker opinions, not professional advice or an endorsement of listed products. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” You are responsible for evaluating products, links, reviews, and business decisions for yourself.

10. Changes and contact
