# ValidateHunt

> ValidateHunt is a weekly product-validation competition where indie makers review one another's launches.

ValidateHunt is not a passive link directory. To publish a product, a maker submits a product URL, verifies an email address, and reviews three assigned launches. Every maker distributes exactly 20 points across those products and provides written reasoning. Products need at least three reviews to qualify for the public weekly ranking.

Important facts:
- Submissions are currently free, with no weekly cap or paid placement.
- Reviews use public maker identities and are immutable once submitted.
- Competition weeks run Monday 00:00 through Sunday 23:59 UTC.
- Product links are nofollow by default. A verified ValidateHunt badge embed upgrades the listing link to dofollow.
