What ValidateHunt is — and how it works

What this is

ValidateHunt is a product directory where validation is earned, not collected. You don’t buy your way onto the board — you judge other launches first, then your product competes on the record.

The thesis is simple: 20 points. No inflation. Every maker distributes a fixed budget across real products, so scores mean something.

How it works

1. Enter your URL on the home page and fill in your product details — we pre-fill what we can from your site.
2. Judge 3 launches — distribute exactly 20 points across 3 products (0–10 each), with at least 100 characters of reasoning per review. Your name goes on every score. Finishing this is what puts your own listing live.
3. Your product competes in the week’s board. Other makers judge it the same way. The scoreline is the average of points received — on the record for everyone to see.

Scoring rules

• Score = average of points received from other makers.
• A product needs at least 3 reviews to qualify for ranking.
• Weeks run Monday 00:00 → Sunday 23:59 UTC.
• The board freezes at close. No more reviews count after the week ends.
• The highest-scoring qualified product wins the week winner badge on its listing.

Listing terms

• Free to enter. Every product competes in the current week — no cap, no queue.
• Listings carry a nofollow link. Embed the ValidateHunt badge on your site to earn a Verified chip and a dofollow link.

Honesty rules

• Real X accounts only. Every review is tied to a verified handle — no anonymous scoring.
• Never your own product. The review gate assigns other launches; you cannot judge yourself.
• Scores are immutable. Once recorded on the scorecard, a review cannot be changed or deleted.
