The pitch
SocialTelescope is a social listening tool that monitors keyword mentions across X, Reddit, Hacker News, and Product Hunt, consolidating them into a single inbox. It scores each mention from 0–100 based on topical fit, intent quality, engagement, and audience match, helping users quickly find high-value conversations. Users can also receive daily or weekly email digests of top mentions instead of checking the app constantly.
What sets it apart
Unlike generic social monitoring tools, it applies a relevance-scoring algorithm across multiple niche developer/startup-focused platforms (Reddit, HN, Product Hunt) and offers a kanban-style reply queue plus customizable email digests for fast triage.

Love the idea, I would pay for this. I am thinking it could be positioned more as a unified inbox with a AI tagging and upvoting view

The relevance score is the real feature here; my keyword feed in other tools is 90% noise. Would love more control over what counts as intent, but the weekly digest already replaced a manual routine for me.

Covering HN and Product Hunt alongside X/Reddit is exactly right for dev tools. The kanban reply queue turned lurking into an actual workflow. Scoring occasionally flags job posts as leads.

Does what it says, and the single inbox is tidy. My niche keywords surfaced fewer mentions than expected, so the value depends a lot on how active your space is on these platforms.

Replaced my duct-tape setup of TweetDeck columns and Reddit alerts. The 0–100 scoring is surprisingly good at surfacing threads where someone is actually asking for a tool like mine.
